Questions about a public record should go to the office that keeps it. The private Millcreek Residents Directory does not hold county deeds, voter files, court dockets, certificates, or city case files. The links below route a records question to the appropriate Salt Lake County, Utah, Millcreek, library, or historical custodian.
Looking for a Specific Record?
Choose the source that matches the record rather than sending one broad question to every office.
- Property, deeds, or plats: use the Salt Lake County Assessor or Recorder Public Search.
- Court case or probate: use Utah Courts Xchange or the Third District copy-request route.
- Birth, death, marriage, or divorce: contact Salt Lake County Vital Records, OVRS, the issuing clerk, or granting court.
- Old directory or household: contact the Utah Historical Society Research Center or the County Library genealogy desk.
- Records not online: submit a written request under Utah's Government Records Access and Management Act, Title 63G, Chapter 2, to the custodian.

Requesting a Record Under GRAMA. A Utah GRAMA request should name the requester, mailing address, daytime phone if available, and a reasonably specific description of an existing record. The Utah Archives FAQ lists the Open Records Portal, email, fax, U.S. mail, and in-person delivery. Normal response time is no later than 10 business days; a qualifying public-benefit request can use a five-business-day response. Actual costs or estimated fees may apply. If access is denied, the first appeal generally goes to the agency Chief Administrative Officer.
This directory cannot remove or correct a public record. Send correction, copy, privacy, and access questions to the named custodian.
